The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Data Science and AI teams to ensure that Beamery works seamlessly with other technologies to solve talent problems. As part of the AI and Data Science team, a cross-functional team of data scientists and engineers, you will be responsible for clearly articulating the business problem and translating that into their day-to-day work for them. With your help, they will translate their research efforts into a product that solves problems for our customers.

You’ll be an integral member of our product team, working together with your counterparts in Engineering, Customer Success, Sales and Partnerships to help define the roadmaps and plans that guide the team to build products that provide true value. You’ll be setting the standard for B2B SaaS products that not only delight our users but transform the recruiting industry, pushing the boundaries of the world of talent acquisition. 

What you will do as a Senior Product Manager at Beamery

  • Own the backlog for AI at Beamery
  • Synthesise customer insights and market intelligence to prioritise models and enhancements that would deliver the most value across all of our customers and prospects. 
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Success to build and communicate new features and benefits. 
  • Translating the company vision and mission into a product strategy and roadmap for your area
  • Own the measurement of success criteria for AI, including model accuracy
  • Create and maintain a strong customer focus for your engineering team(s).
  • Foster a healthy feedback culture and strike the right balance between the needs of the customers and the needs of Beamery. 
  • Have fun with your team.  Not only do we invest in team culture and chemistry whilst we work, but we also find opportunities for offsites and social activities. 

What we are looking for

  • Good understanding of the data science lifecycle
  • Experience with managing machine learning and data science teams for the delivery of a product, from concept to execution
  • Appreciation for the difference between data science and software engineering
  • A good intuition about the capabilities and limitations of machine learning
  • Analytically minded and adept at making data-driven decisions
  • Good at dealing with uncertainty
  • Organised and have a growth mindset
  • Ability to lead people from multiple disciplines. Being able to build consensus and make things happen across disciplines is essential
  • Great at understanding and communicating the “why.”
