Our product team is critical to the efficient and effective development of products that our customers love. We currently serve some of the largest global enterprises across various vertices, from tech to heavy construction. Product managers operate as the voice of the business and connect the desired business outcomes to customer problems and collaborate with engineering to deliver the best solutions for our customers. 

The Partnerships & Ecosystem team (we call ourselves the Connect Vector) is the heart of the product. They design and build APIs that service both internal and external developers and manage the integrations that allow us to leverage Beamery’s Data platform and AI across the enterprise tech stack. We are highly collaborative and rapidly scaling our business.  We encourage and support skill development and exposure to many parts of our product and business so that people can grow and progress in their careers in product.  


We are looking for a Business Analyst to work with the Connect Vector and our largest customers to help build integrations that provide our users with delightfully seamless workflows across Beamery and their talent software stack.  You will play a key role in analysing and understanding how our customer’s systems operate and how Beamery and our data models can provide the best map to and sync with our customers’ systems and data schemas.   You will lead customer engagement to clarify business requirements for data integrations and formalise these into clear functional specifications easing the path to technical execution for Product Engineering.  You will be a subject matter expert for our delivery teams and closely collaborate with the Product Managers and Engineers to articulate the problems to be solved and requirements needing to be met to delight our customers. You will also own, manage and document our customer segmentation approach for integrations.     


  • Understand the initial set of business requirements and address any ambiguity in data model mapping as well as system behaviour inconsistencies
  • Analyse technical documentation and engage with the technical counterparts of our customers to generate insights into technical requirements
  • Communicate and document existing functionality as well as new technical requirements, including user workflows and data-flow diagrams
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers on problem-solving and bringing insights into the system requirements to inform and shape problem statements and user stories
  • Ensure that requirements address broad customer needs
  • Manage the documentation of how our integrations work and be a subject matter expert in these areas for our customers and our delivery teams
  • Segment our customers from the perspective of how the integrations should work and problem-solve around how we meet the technical requirements for each segment’s integrations
  • Optimise approach to meeting system requirements to maximise consistency and reusability of our solutions across customers


  • Experience as either a  software engineer, a business analyst, a technical product owner, a technical account manager 
  • Experience with API based products and integrations
  • Demonstrable experience in data modelling, mappings and data transformations
  • Ability to understand the nuances of our customer's systems requirements as well as Beamery’s and clearly communicate them to the Product Managers and engineers
  • Experience diagramming data flows and user workflows
  • Ability to communicate technical functionality and requirements orally and in writing
  • Track record of collaborating within agile delivery teams
  • Ability to identify patterns of technical needs across customers and incorporate insights into technical requirements 
  • Ability to use data to make and communicate decisions
  • Attention to detail
